You have some strong coloring work here to be sure! Something that I might recommend being mindful of when planning a piece for a competition is the criteria or "theme" of the contest. It can be tempting to make a piece we are more comfortable with and which plays to our strengths without necessarily meeting the theme.

Contests are a great opportunity to push ourselves, and even if we are less confident in the end result we have grown as an artist and tried something challenging.
